Galena Ridge accepts boys who are 12 - 18 years old. Students enrolled in our program are typically teenagers who have been experiencing conflict in their personal and home lives and who may be having difficulty in school. They may be acting out self-destructive or otherwise inappropriate behaviors or have problems with motivation, low self-esteem, family and peer relationships, or substance abuse. Galena Ridge is a physically challenging program and teens that are not able to be active for health reasons may not be appropriate for enrollment.
.
Galena Ridge may also serve as a strong follow-up program for teens in transition from a Twelve Step oriented treatment program or similar residential facility. A conference for students and family members designed to help re-integrate families is scheduled at the end of each summer program.
